Experience, Learn, and Celebrate Art.
SOUTH SALT LAKE
Many Artists. One Community.
The Arts Council has a mission to unite the South Salt Lake community through art. Every year we support local artists by seeking out and creating art opportunities for them to showcase their craft. In doing so, we open the door to residents and non-residents in SSL, providing easy access to amazing art classes, local arts events, art volunteer opportunities, and local professional artists. From murals on our local businesses to our art classes, South Salt Lake is celebrating our community's creative side and local pride. Our projects have a positive impact on the at-large community, increasing property values, contributing to our city's economic development, generating awareness about our existing cultural assets, fostering creative approaches to innovative growth, making arts experiences accessible, and creating a shared sense of pride.

The South Salt Lake Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation is tax deductible.

Our Mission
The South Salt Lake Arts Council works to unite our community through art. We strive to support local artists, provide engaging opportunities for our residents to participate in the arts, contribute to our city's economic development by generating awareness about our existing cultural assets, and foster creative approaches to innovative growth that will remain true to the artisan and industrial character of South Salt Lake.
Over the years, the South Salt Lake Arts Council has sponsored arts and cultural activities to provide our residence with opportunities to engage in the creative process. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organized and managed by the City of South Salt Lake with a volunteer board of Directors. We work closely with the community and city government departments to bring art into the lives of everyone who lives, works, worships, or plays in South Salt Lake.
